Life is an enriching journey presented with fulfilling and challenging experiences. Much of these experiences will challenge our values and beliefs. Even when one’s life feels to be full of crippling challenges, she aims to bring about psychological resiliency within the clients to live a life that they would want to actualize. It is crucial to learn to embrace the imperfections in life and to treat our relationships with kindness. We deserve a space to be heard and understood. With every up-and-down in our life, there are always growth and inner strength that we can discover and appreciate. We can allow ourselves to develop the ability to heal as we go through the challenges or traumas that had been hurting.
In her prior experience working in healthcare institutions, Sing Wuing treated different groups of patients who suffered from various combinations of physical or chronic illness, including sleep issues, mental health, emotional challenges and relational problems as well as clients of different careers such as students, working professionals, and entrepreneurs. She has been involved in several public mental health awareness events, conference presentation and innovative programs.
She employs an integrative approach, mainly from the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based therapy, Solution-focused Therapy (SFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) skills, Narrative Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Sing Wuing is interested in integrating Western and Eastern values to build a robust, culturally sensitive and holistic framework that promotes impactful and continuous upward growth.
Sing Wuing applies her repertoire of psychological knowledge to guide her clients on a journey to discover and understand the existing mind-map that contributes to their emotional pain and the obstacles that keep them from achieving their life goals. Then, she works with them to customize a plan to build upon values that promote better mind-body balance, self-efficacy, mental clarity, spirituality, life satisfaction and workplace performance that allow the clients to live a life where they can be mindful and filled with wisdom.

作为一名临床心理师和心理治疗师,Sing Wuing在过去的五年中,帮助了许多人找到了自己生命中的价值并更清晰地生活着,尤其是学生群体,工作人士,专业人士和创业家。因为过往在医疗机构的工作经验,她也拥有和那些患有长期慢性病与其他病痛的个案一起进行心理治疗的经验(包括各种情绪问题,睡眠问题或者人际关系问题)。她也参与过许多推广心理健康知识的活动与讲座,心理研讨会的交流分享和其他一些心理创新计划(工作坊)等等。
