Rachel is an empathetic, confident and positive leader who has a strong passion for psychology and mental wellness within the community. She is currently working as the Business Development Executive at Elephant Therapy and Training while pursuing her Masters in Guidance and Counselling at James Cook University (Singapore).
After she graduated from University at Buffalo with a double major in Psychology and Communications, Rachel worked at an early intervention centre as an educational therapist supporting children with special needs including but not limited to the autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactive disorder.
Rachel’s educational experience in both Singapore and the United States has broadened her perspective and encourages her to use empathy and kindness in her daily life. She firmly believes in the power of long term therapy to maintain mental wellness and empower individuals. In her free time, Rachel enjoys supporting the Southeast Asian arts scene and watching films at the cinema.
