Jackie is a mindfulness specialist, registered counsellor, certified career counsellor, trauma therapist, clinical supervisor, wellbeing educator and trainer.
Her rich experience from family service centre, prison, academia and MNCs where she worked with a diverse population which involved families, children, youths, students, adults, elderlies, couples, inmates and PMETs, on a wide range of issues including addiction, anger, anxiety, burnout, depression, fear, parenting, procrastination, relationships, life purpose, goal setting, unemployment, career transition & development, complex trauma and PTSD.
Understanding every individual is unique, Jackie applies holistic customized treatment plan to meet her clients’ needs to achieve maximum results. Her therapeutic approach is relational, evidence-based and integrative. This includes humanistic person-centric, CBT, MBCT, Mindful Self-Compassion, Trauma Therapy (somatic, neurobiology, attachment, bilateral stimulation, parts, etc) and Schlossberg’s 4S Theory. She works to enhance her clients’ awareness which in turn allows them to gain greater access to their inner resources and strengths.
Prior to being a therapist, Jackie was a successful Senior Executive at various MNCs where she worked with different cultures from around the globe. With her international and diverse background, she understands and embraces cultures and languages differences, rapid changes environment, and uses empathy to help others facing obstacles and challenges to find happiness in life.
