Children, Adolescents and Parents
Early therapeutic interventions for children can ensure progress through developmental milestones and prevent more intractable problems in later life. Dr Marks works with children and young people who are experiencing difficulties which interfere with their capacity to play, learn and experience life to the full. Dr Marks also offers support to parents in improving their capacity both to parent and make sense of the difficulties faced by their children. Parent work can often have a very marked impact on helping parents to help their children manage their difficulties and improve relationships within the family.
Couples work
Sometimes small shifts can have a major impact on relationships, identifying destructive patterns and working towards more satisfying ways of relating.
Adult work
Dr Marks offers longer-term depth counselling and therapy for adults.
Clinical Supervision
Dr Marks also offers clinical supervision to therapists.
